Character heads are sculpted in an oil based clay
The two antagonists share the same body type, so a mold is made to cast multiples
Brass tubing is used in this stage to register the armature for the eventual casting
This casting is skinned with a pigmentable silicone, over a layer of flexible open cell foam
The shoes are sculpted in clay and cast in silicone to bend naturally in animation
These hands are sculpted in apoxie clay over an armature
The skull was digitally sculpted in ZBrush and scaled to the clay model
Once 3D printed, the sculpt was lightly sanded, molded in silicone, and cast in resin for painting
